No, it doesn’t.  You can install Locs By Lisa™ loc bundles on loose natural hair, relaxed/transitioning hair or existing locs.

Yes. You can color your loc extensions.  I always recommend that you go to a professional for all coloring services and do not color until after 6 months. Locs By Lisa™ Loc Bundles can be bleached, colored, dyed.  Please keep in mind that coloring/bleaching the hair can deteriorate the loc’s integrity.  All color options except natural black have already been processed with color.  This may affect the ability to lift (bleach) the hair. 

A Loc bundle is the quantity that defines how our locs are sold. One bundle is equal to 10 locs.  When you select your bundle quantity, you will multiply that by 10 to determine the amount of locs.  For example, if you need 60 locs, you will select 6 bundles.  If you need 10 locs, you will select 1 bundle.  If you need 75 locs, you will select 8 bundles (80 locs), and so forth.

Loc counts vary for each person.  In my experience these are the amounts you will need based on the loc width.

For XS-Micro Locs (Compare to Sisterlocks):

• Full Head (thick hair. larger head size) 50 – 80 bundles, 500 – 800 locs
• Full head (thin hair or smaller head size) 40-60 bundles, 400-600 locs
• Mohawks, Fades or Undercuts, 20-40 bundles, 200-400 locs

For Micro Locs:

• Full Head (thick hair/larger head size) 16-22 bundles, 160-220 locs
• Full head (thin hair/smaller head size) 13-19 bundles, 130-190 locs
• Mohawks, Fades or Undercuts, 10-15 bundles, 100-150 locs

For X-Small Locs:

• Full Head (thick hair. larger head size) 10-12 bundles, 100-120 locs
• Full head (thin hair or smaller head size) 9-11 bundles, 90-110 locs
• Mohawks, Fades or Undercuts, 7-9 bundles, 70-90 locs

For Small Locs:

• Full Head (thick hair. larger head size) 8-10 bundles, 80-100 locs
• Full head (thin hair or smaller head size) 7-9 bundles, 70-90 locs
• Mohawks, Fades or Undercuts, 6-8 bundles, 60-80 locs

For Medium Locs:

• Full Head (thick hair or larger head size) 6-8 bundles, 60-80 locs
• Full Head (thin hair or smaller head size) 5-7 bundles, 50-70 locs
• Mohawk, Fades or Undercuts, 4-6 bundles, 40-60 locs
