BOOKING POLICIES
If this is your first time booking with Locs By Lisa, a consultation is required prior to booking any service. This ensures proper service selection, timing, and expectations. Appointments may be cancelled if booked without a consultation.
All services are listed as starting prices. Final pricing is determined at the appointment and may vary based on density, length, overall condition, loc count, maintenance history, time required, and any additional work needed.
Locs By Lisa prioritizes healthy hair and scalp care. Services may be adjusted based on what your hair/scalp needs, not only what is booked. If a treatment, repair, deeper cleansing step, or maintenance service is required to protect your locs/scalp, it may be added with an upcharge.
If buildup is present, a deeper cleansing step or detox service may be required even if it was not booked. The level of cleansing will be determined during service, and an additional charge may apply.
When maintenance is overdue (example: normally every 6 weeks but arriving at 9+ weeks, or extended periods without maintenance), additional work may be required. This can include separating, part correction, detangling, repairs, and buildup removal. Additional time and charges may apply depending on your hair’s condition.
Deposits are required for select services (including but not limited to microlocs, loc extensions, and loc reattachments). Any required deposit and the amount will be shown at booking. Deposits are non-refundable and apply toward your total. Deposit requirements and terms vary by service as listed.
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please cancel or reschedule as early as possible.
24+ hours notice: no charge.
Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the scheduled service price.
Less than 4 hours notice: 100% of the scheduled service price.
No Call/No Show: 100% of the scheduled service price. Booking may be restricted until outstanding balances are paid.
Clients may reschedule up to two (2) times. Additional reschedules may require a new deposit or other booking penalty.
Please communicate if you are running late. Appointments may be cancelled if you are 15+ minutes late without communication. Appointments are automatically cancelled after 25 minutes. If approved to continue, a $15 late fee will be added.
Service changes must be requested at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Changes can impact timing and staffing. Service changes may result in being charged for the original scheduled service (example: cancelling a color service during the appointment may still be billed).
Accepted payment methods: cash, credit/debit card, and online bank transfer. No card fees are passed on to the client. Payment timing depends on the service and may be required before or after the appointment.
To protect the client experience and appointment timing, no extra guests are allowed. Locs By Lisa does not service clients under 14.
Preferred contact method is WhatsApp. Please allow up to 24 hours for a response. During peak periods, responses may take longer.
Please book using an active email address and phone number (confirmations and reminders are sent automatically). Use the same name each time you book. Creating an account is recommended to prevent duplicate profiles and to keep accurate records of appointment history, services provided, and important client notes.
Product requests can be submitted via WhatsApp. Orders will be confirmed based on availability. Payment is made in person upon pickup. All product sales are final (no returns or exchanges).
